IMPACT Underage Drinking Prevention School Curriculum Program
Underage Drinking Curriculum is administered into local school districtsthrough a unique partnership betweens the districts and IMPACT. Our program sponsors each campus with a evidence based curriculum training at no charge and offer free curriculum for each class which recieves the Class Action or Media Ready Prevention Curriculum.

Miller County school districts receive underage drinking curriculum in several classes provided by IMPACT Underage Drinking Prevention Program.  Included in this team effort are the Texarkana, Genoa, and Fouke campuses.

The Class Action and Media Ready Curriculums are both evidence based researched materials which have been proven effective.

Class Action which aims at high school students covers 10 real life trail based scenario’s which allows students to observe laws and serious effects of underage drinking.

Media Literacy is targeted at our middle school students, giving them discerning skills to combat the negative influence of alcohol from the media industry. To learn more about our curriculums click links in our title bar above.

IMPACT Presentations
Presentations are presented to community agencies, youth, and organzations informing participants of the impact of underage drinking in relative sectors involving their entities.

Youth presentations teach resistance skills, media literacy, long-term physical damage, and risk liabilities of underage drinking in an inter-active format which engage youth's interest to learn and be involved in our goal of reducing underage drinking among them and their peers.

IMPACT Community Events
A Red Ribbon Week Celebration is hosted by IMPACT annually at the Faith, Love, & Hope Youth Corporation. The program brings awareness in the community by "Painting the Community Red" an attempt to hang banners, place yard signage, billboards, and run television commercial and radio ads throughout the city. Partners pass out red ribbons to local businesses and hand out free t-shirts to show a collaborated effort of Miller County residents who support our committement to have a Drug Free Community.
